Chris Brown - Exclusive

Exclusive is the second studio album of Chris Brown. It had taken longer time than expecting to be released, first it was scheduled to be released on August 28, 2007, but then lasted til November 6, 2007 to its final release.

This album was reaching number 4 on the US Billboard 200 chart on its debut, 295,000 units was sold within one week of release. The album yielded thee Billboard Hot 100 top five singles, and was entering the top twenty of many charts worldwide. It was re-released on June 3, 2008 as an expanded double disc deluxe edition. Besides, Exclusive has earned platinum certification in USA from the Recording Industry Association of America.

Kiss kiss is a song in the album, released as the second single. The RIAA has certified it triple Platinum. The song was available as digital track download on the U.S. iTunes store on October 16, 2007. It was No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 on October 30 and was 48th on Rolling Stone’s list of the 100 best songs of 2007.
Take you down is the fourth single, was released to urban radio station on April 1, 2008. It is nominated at the 51st Grammy Awards in the Best Male R&B Vocal Performance category. It appeared at the 27th on the New Zealand RIANZ Chart on July 28th, 2008.

With you is a song in the album, was released as the third single from his second studio this album on December 4, 2007, and the second single in international music markets. It is notimined for 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, produced by Stargate. The song was a worldwide commercial, and becoming his second best selling single and Exclusive is the most successful release. With You remained at no. 2 for 6 continious weeks.

Freedom – 443,736 copies

Akon is a son of Mor Thiam, a famed jazz musician. He can play several instruments and got setting in music by his family. During his 12 years of studied time, he began to get his music background in his music abilities and developed an appreciation. He mix of West African-style, he got skills and moves, for the final, he got the ears of executive at Universal.

“Trouble”, “Konvicted” and “Freedom” is three out of his best albums. He released the album “Freedom” in 2th December 2008. Three best singles in the album are “Right Now (Na Na Na)”, “I’m So Paid” which was joined with Lil Wayne and Young Jeery, and the last single is “Beautiful”, which was joined with Kardinal Offishall and Colby O’Donis. Akon told that he also joined the song “Guarantee” in Flo Rida’s upcoming album.

The album “Freedom” reached at number seven on the Billboard, it reached 110,000 copies in its first week on selling. In the present, it is getting sold about 443,736 copies so far. It include thirdteen singles in the album about 60 minutes playing. It is also joined by Wyclef Jean with “Sunny Day”, Ray Lavender with “Against the Grain”, T-Pain with “Holla Holla”, and Sweet Rush with “Troublemake”.

He is also joined in producing with the track entiled “Echo”, the lastest album of Latin Boy band Mendo, it is released in the spring 2008.

In early 2009, he will be a guest appearance on album “Fantasy Ride”, a new album of Ciara.

He is also the executive producer of “Not 4 Sale”, the fourth solo album of Kardinal Offishall, it was released on 9th September 2008. Akon rapped on the street single “Graveyard Shift”. He also joins in the first official single “Dangerous”. He told that he is working with Whitney Houston on her untitled comeback album in 2009, which will have two recorded called “Like I Never Left”.

Circus - best work ever

Britney Spears recorded with Danja and Bloodshy & Avant again, whom produced several tracks from “Blackout”. Spears had been in the studion with Jim Beanz, the vocal producer, he told to “Us Weekly”. “Everyone has personal stuff, but a true professional doesn’t bring it into the studio”, he said. “The process was cool, because I got to write a lot of the songs, and in the beginning, I really took part in that. ... I experimented with a lot of the pop producers that I worked with on my earliest albums” said by Spears, she collaborated much on her new album "Circus".

In an interview with OK! Magazine, Britney Spears told that she was working with Harvey Mason of The Underdogs. “I wanted to experiment with producers I haven't worked with much before, like the Underdogs, who have a Timbaland kind of sound”, she commented. Spears were spent time in the studio with Guy Sigsworth from The Los Angeles Times, whom previously produced the singles "Everytime" and "Someday (I Will Understand)". Max Martin calls “his best work ever”, he is writer for “Baby One More Time”, which is Spears’s first hit. The album with songs was produced by Dr. Luke, whom actually often collaborates with Martin, it also included the title track, with up-and-comer Benny Blanco. Another notable collaborator, who wrote several songs with Spears in spring 2008 including “Mmm Papi” and “Rock Me In”, Nicole Morier, who co-wrote “Heaven on Earth” of “Blackout”. The Outsyders, an Atlanta-based production team, also collaborated to produce the first single of the album.

So, the Circus album gets many support, however there is not also. The Guardian felt that the album “substantially less edgy and exciting than its predecessor”, it was agreed similar by Allmusic that the album “never feels as sleek or addictive as its predecessor”. Slant Magazine told the album “doesn't quite feel like a comeback”as an their unfavorable reviews. Another of Hartford Courant, “It's too bad the best songs here don't really match up with her best performances, but that's nothing new for Spears”

I Am… Sasha Fierce – certified Gold

Beyonce release “I Am… Sasha Fierce” on 18th November, 2008 in the United States. It is her third album. It showed at number 16 in New Zealand. Her’ best singles “If I Were A Boy” and “Single Ladies” get major popularity in New Zealand, the album reached top at number 7. It sold over 7,500 units in New Zealand and got certified Gold. Its still rising for selling “I Am… Sasha Fierce”, because her single “Halo” is in the top 5 in New Zealand Charts. This single is her third single from “I Am… Sasha Fierce”.

“I Am… Sasha Fierce” is earliest release and first appreared on Japan’s International Album chart. It reached number 5, and then it moved to number 1 on the chart. It is becoming her third number 1 album in Japan. Also, it charted at number 3 overall in Japan. Beyonce described the album:” ... One side has songs that are more mainstream and another has my more traditional R&B songs for my fans who've been there the whole time. Some of it sounds like Barbra Streisand, Karen Carpenter and the Beatles around the 1970s". She explained about the difference between “I Am... Sasha Fierce” and her ealier solo albums that it includes more ballads at The Oprah Winfrey Show.

She worked on the album nearly a year, longer than she had spent on her previous solo albums and records with former group Destiny’s Child. She told that she had co-written and co-produced over seventy songs. On her website, she wrote ”I am in a different place right now and I wanted people to see the many sides of me. The music is upbeat for the dance, fun side and it is reflective, passionate and serious for the personal side. I have taken risks here. I am not afraid and my music will explain it all.
